We are currently conducting an LCA for Office Furniture Workspace Products; in order to present the LCA results in the most flexible way and to facilitate the publication of future EPDs, the EPD results would be presented in 2 tables: 1. A table presenting the results of the LCA of the final product Expansion Casegoods, by life cycle stages (raw materials, production, distribution/use and end-of-life) 2. A table presenting the results of the LCA into the following 3 major sub products: the hutch, the work surface and the pedestal box Since the results of the LCA results are presented into the 3 separate products, can the separate products serving a different function contribute individually as a product with an EPD – even though they share the same EPD? For example, the work surface serves a different function than the hutch... can they count for 2 products with a EPD?
