Where to draw the line on food purchasing

Our food purchases are spread across several people and purposes. We have a commercial kitchen that is used for events and daily tastings, employee breakroom foods and beverages, and employee catered lunches. Must all of these food purchases be tracked?

Hi Haley, this credit applies building-wide, so all of the food purchases you mention should be tracked and included in your credit calculations. Up to 10% of the building's floor area can be completely excluded, however, if it's operation is under separate management. And you can assume 0% compliant purchases for non-participating tenants. Hope this helps!
