Does anybody have good suggestions and tips for studying for the LEED AP BD+C exam. Many people say that the reference guide on 800 pages contains way more information than one would need to know. Does the credit information here on LEEDuser.com contain enough information about each credit to get the necessary knowledge to pass the exam? I am going to start studying for the AP exam this week. I just recently passed the GA with a very high score and am trying to gather good study routine to attempt the AP exam. Very thankful for sharing your experience!

Brazer, your question is timed very well, and I have a recommended resource. You should buy the reference guide: it has just about everything you need, and you'll need to use it on your actual LEED projects. But it's true that you don't need to memorize the whole thing (and that's probably really hard to do).We (here at LEEDuser) have just come out with a resource that guides you to the key parts of the reference guide that you should focus on, and provides a practice exam as well as a workboook for studying. We're really excited about it, and hope you'll check it out and give us any feedback. It's called: LEEDuser's Guide to Passing the LEED v4 exam.

For the V4 BD+C exam, would you happen to know if they ask specific questions about the project type variations? I've been focusing on studying the credit/prereq information that applies to New Construction and I've skipped the project type variations (schools, retails, warehouses, healthcare, etc). It would be overwhelming if I had to know those too for the exam.
