The building is steel structure, which will be painted with fire rated paint. the paint will be applied before constructing the building envelope, allowing the VOC off gassing to the atmosphere.
knowing that part of the painted steel structure will be exposed within the building envelope after constructing it, should the paint comply with the VOC limits?

Good day,
Yes, all "Paints and coatings used on the interior of the building (i.e., inboard side of the weatherproofing system and applied on-site) must comply", including those elements that are applied on-site before building enclosure.

Hi, what is the VOC limit and standard for the fireproofing paints? I couldn't find "fireproof paint" in the VOC list? Which item do i consider in the VOC list?
Thank you
