BIO
John-David is a Sustainability Manager at BGIS. His responsibilities include providing reporting and managing the sustainability deliverable requirements within the established Service Delivery Regime. In his role, he is also responsible for contributing to the identification of project opportunities, project delivery, and consultant service delivery. The scope of service includes LEED, Green Globes, WELL, , BOMA Best, water auditing\reporting, and waste program management. The general approach to all opportunities will be to provide the most sustainable building solution to the client, regardless of preferred certification system.
Previous to BGIS, John-David was a Sustainability Consultant with CSV Architects in Ottawa, Ontario specializing in the Project Management of the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Certification process by The Canadian Green Building Council.
While John-David was the lead Sustainability Consultant for CSV Architects, John-David provided guidance on Sustainability for Architecture firms, Contractors and has provided Sustainability counsel for government agencies including the National Capital Commission, Canadian Mortgage and Housing, National Research Council and the City of Ottawa.
Prior to his work with CSV, he initiated and oversaw the successful application to Federation of Canadian Municipalities - Green Municipal Fund in cooperation with the Municipality of Chelsea for financing of “A New Vision for Chelsea - A Sustainable Community Plan for Rural Neighborhood Development.”
