My project is on a college campus that is non-smoking on the entire campus, there are no areas with permitted smoking. The streets themselves are university property, not public streets. If everything and everywhere is non-smoking, and there are "no smoking/tobacco inside and out" on exterior doors (for this building and every other building on campus), would there be any requirement to place free-standing signs on the edges of the site? Or are the signs on the doors enough? The campus is willing to put up free-standing sign in areas that expercience difficulties with tobacco use, but I don't want to put up signs by default if I don't have to. Thanks!
