I have an interesting case. A building on my site is being demolished as part of my project scope and will be grassed over. In a later phase (years down the road - not in the current project scope / contract) the school hopes to build a new building on the same spot that the demolished building now stands (and will want to LEED certify the new building). My question is...should I include the area of demo in my current LEED boundary for this project, and if so, can I then use this area in a future LEED project. In addition; my civil engineer is counting on the pervious grass area for their SS6.1 and SS6.2 calcs. If the school does build on this site in the future (if the budget allows) will we need to recalculate our storm water management calcs? I really appreciate the help. Thanks!
