BACKGROUND INFO: - Attempting LEED EB: O&M Certification for a historical train/transit station - The first floor of the station has an opening/threshold (no enclosures) that connects to an underground tunnel that lead to the railway terminals/portals. - The first floor of the station has a separate MEP system from that of the connecting tunnel QUESTION: - Even though the station and tunnel are technically connected, can the LEED Project Boundary exclude the tunnel since it's only purpose is for circulation and the MEP systems are separate?
