Does anyone have any insight into the on-street bike lane width requirements for this credit? The credit indicates that a 5 ft width is the minimum for single direction, on-street bike lanes but I'm wondering if a bike lane, shared with vehicular traffic (aka - a sharrow) but designated with street markings, would satisfy the requirement. Technically, the cyclist has the entire vehicle lane to use but should stick to the area where the lane markings are. Any thoughts?

Michelle, I believe that the 5-foot width is a minimum for regular streets. If the street is designed for 25 mph traffic, then my read of the reference guide is that the 5-foot width does not apply. (A lesser shoulder would be okay.)
