Technically yes, but typically engineers just assume transfer air will be sufficient. For LEED it is not a regularly occupied space so you don't need to include it in the calcs.

Hi Dylan, I would like to expand on this point. We have corridors and other transient spaces where we would not typically provide fresh air as they will not be occupied for long periods. Will LEED v3 2009 ask us to ventilate such transient spaces. Am I correct when I say that these do not need to be mechanically ventilated if they are not regularly occupied. ?
