project has a green roof that is accessible from a lounge. the lounge is a regularly occupied space. seems to me that people using the green roof area should be fair game (?).

Michael, not sure I understand your question, but the lounge would count in your calculations for this credit, but the green roof, as an outside space, would not count. The credit intent is to provide views TO the outside. If they're already outside, mission accomplished here... give them open space according to SSc5.

Occupied Spaces are defined as ENCLOSED spaces that can accommodate human activities. Occupied spaces are further classified as regularly occupied or non-regularly occupied spaces based on the duration of the occupancy, individual or multi-occupant based on the quantity of occupants, and densely or non-densely occupied spaces based upon the concentration of occupants in the space.
