CS-v4 EQc1:Enhanced indoor air quality strategies

CO2 monitoring densely occupied spaces, exemption rooms <150 sf

Why are not small rooms (less than 150 sf) exempt from the CO2 monitoring requirements? In EB:OM and several other places and standards they are. Is this missed or what is the purpose of leaving it out of some rating systems (such as CS and NC)? What did I miss? Best regards Maria

Maria, I am not sure I understand your question. I do see that there is a <150 sf exemption in EBOM for the similar credit, but it is often the case that EBOM requirements are a bit different, in part to account for the difficulty in retrofitting existing conditions. In LEED 2009 there is a CO2 monitoring requirement for LEED-NC with no <150 ft2 exemption, so as far as I can tell this does not represent a change for LEED-NC v4.
