EBOM-2009 EAp3:Fundamental Refrigerant Management

Manufacturer specs required or are nameplates sufficient?

Are you required to provide the manufacturer's specifications, or is it enough to upload the nameplates to LEED? I have an inventory of all HVAC equipment with manufacture name, model, serial number and refrigerants used gathered from the nameplates but an unable to obtain the original manufacturer's specifications.

Alice, I'd say nameplate is sufficient. This is the kind of information that is often possible to find for existing building systems, whereas original specs can be hard to track down, or impossible.
