Hello, One of the LEED requirements of this credit is: "[For rooms with chemicals / hazardous gases], the exhaust rate must be at least 0.50 CFM per sq. ft. with no air recirculation." A photocopy room (or a garbage room) will have a dedicated fresh air duct and another dedicated exhaust air duct, and the exhaust rate requirement will be met (0.5 CFM/ft2). I was wondering if such rooms can also be cooled by an HVAC system (ex. DX Split Unit) which fully recirculate the air inside. The intent of the credit is met since the HVAC system only serves this room, and the pollutants will not move to any adjacent space. Can this be possible? Thanks!
