EBOM-2009 SSc2:Building Exterior and Hardscape Management Plan

Purchasing Green Cleaning Equipment

I would like some clarification as to whether the building itself needs to own the cleaning equipment or can it be owned by the vendor that cleans the building in order to receive the appropriate green cleaning credits provided that equipment meets all the appropriate criteria and all implementable steps are being followed?

The key thing with this credit is the management plan—who does it, and owns the equipment, is not relevant to the basic credit requirements. See the Checklists tab above for steps and tips on incorporating vendors.
