This credit is listed in Appendix 4 under case C so it should include tenant spaces as well. I have a question regarding filling in the LEEDonline form. Is it ok if we fill in the form only with equipment data from C&S scope of work and provide sample tenant lease requiring tenants to comply with LEED requirements for they spaces? We don't have to fill in the table with predicted data for tenant spaces since we don't really know what they will install (and tenant lease will cover that), is that correct?

Sounds to me like this is the right approach.

Have you guys looked at LEED Interpretation #5271? It appears that USGBC allows this type of tenant equipment to be exempt from the credit. Does anyone have any specific GBCI review dealings on this issue? What do you guys think?

Scott - that's an interesting CIR. The ruling seems to be referring only to "supplementary cooling" and "food service" equipment. Adam, if this is the type of equipment you are asking about, you should be able to follow the CIR. But to answer your question Adam, a sample lease should be sufficient. Recently C&S reviewers have asked that the lease be signed the owner or by the owner and tenant if a tenant has been found.
