Hi,
I have a doubt related to the definition of "semi-conditioned" spaces.
I read in section 3 of ASHRAE 90.1-2007 that what defines a cooled and heated space is related to the capacity/floor area. I could also have the definition of a semiheated space. But what defines a semicooled space?
If, in my project, I have restrooms which are served by conditioned air mechanically transfered into these spaces, are they semiconditioned?
Thanks.

Since semicooled is not defined I would assume it is any cooled space under 5 Btu/h·ft2 of floor area.
The restrooms sound like they are indirectly conditioned spaces.

I agree, indirectly conditioned. For energy modeling purposes I usually just group these spaces with the typical adjacent corridor.
