I’m planning to approach this credit through the prescriptive path.
My building has windows on all four facades. It also has a central atrium that measures 49.20ft x 49.20ft (2.420sf). This space is an indoor garden on the first floor which all floors of the building overlook. It has a large skylight at the top.
My question is: can I use the light that enters from this skylight to comply with this credit?

Assuming you mean that can the skylight be used towards the multiple floors, no, it has to be located in the space being calculated.
If just for the atrium space, yes, as long as it meets all the requirements.
