NC-2009 IEQc4.1:Low-Emitting Materials—Adhesives and Sealants

Category for IEQ Credit 4.1

I am new to the LEED process. I am having trouble determining which categories the following products fall under for the purpose of IEQ Credit 4.1. The products were included in a plumbing piping insulation submittal. Is there a list of products for each category that I can use as a reference? • Armacell 520 Adhesive • Foster 81-42 Lagging Adhesive • Childers CP-70 Chil-Joint Sealant • Foster 30-35 Tite Fit Coating Thank you.

Armacell 520 Adhesive - CONTACT ADHESIVE is an adhesive applied to two separate surfaces, allowed to dry, and brought together for adhesion and bonding with subsequent pressure. VOC limit-80 g/l • Foster 81-42 Lagging Adhesive This is a tricky one. the product does 2 jobs; Fire Resistive Lagging Adhesive and Coating. Previously, it would have been Fire-Retardant Coatings*** Clear 650 Pigmented 350, but as this is no longer available as a menu choice, I would be inclined to enter it as a Multipurpose Construction Adhesive max 70g/l • Childers CP-70 Chil-Joint Sealant Architectural Sealant • Foster 30-35 Tite Fit Coating What is this product being used for? Although it states coating, the product can be used for vapor sealing - If this is it's intended purpose, you could submit it as an Architectural Sealant. Good luck!
