NC-2009 MRc4: Recycled Content
I would like to know how you can consider a concrete which has returned to the production plant without being used in the construction. Can be a residue pre or post consumer?

The recycled content percentage on the product data sheet is given as a range. What should I do?
Is the default average recycled content value of 25% for steel still allowed?
Can site materials, such as soil, be included in the MR credit calculations?
Are there recycled content claims that I should be wary of?

Hi Albert,That concrete should be counted as preconsumer. I think of it as analogous to magazines that were distributed to stores but never sold, and returned to the printer. Those are also considered preconsumer because they never reached their end-user or served their intended function.
