Educational Program - Case study

We are pursuing the Educational Program for IDc1 through provision of signage and production of a case study that describes the projects sustainable features and lessons learned. Our client intends to upload this case study on their own website, at an appropriate location where it will be accessible to project teams working on other design projects. This way the case study would influence the design and construction of other buildings. We can provide details of clients construction activity etc. The project is confidential, so our question is whether it is mandatory to share the case study with USGBC i.e. upload onto their website?

Kitty, it would be up to GBCI to decide if a case study that will be shared in this limited way is sufficient to contribute to the credit.USGBC doesn't have a place on its website to upload case studies, so that's not an issue. If your question is about what to upload to LEED Online, then uploading some documentation of your case study would be necessary. What exactly to upload would depend on the exact form the case study is taking.

Tristan, many thanks for this. Any experience on projects that have produced a case study under this credit? what form did it take? We were going to prepare a document based on content examples of building profiles on usgbc's site (https://new.usgbc.org/projects) i.e. overview, LEED scorecard, specific information on credits and design strategy details, lessons learned etc.
