Do we have to install CO2 sensor in each retail unit if they will be considered as densely occupied areas according LEED definition? There will be only one employee in each unit but several customers.

Jiri, For this credit I always use the same occupant load that I use to determine minimum OA flows in accordance with ASHRAE 62.1 - 2007. See the link below to the ASHRAE Addendum page. Download Addenda g, r & t to ASHRAE 62.1 - 2007. In adendum t paragraph 6.2.1 is altered and a new paragraph 6.2.1.1 is added. 6.2.1.1 defines your design zone population as the "largest (peak) number of people expected to occupy the ventilation zone during typical usage." If your peak load is more than 25 people per 1,000 sf then CO2 monitors will be required to comply with this credit.
