Has anyone have or had any experience with irrigation systems provided by Hunter Indutries? I contacted them in order to obtain information regarding the IE value for their irrigation equipments, and the answer I’ve got was that “we do not determine such factor, but we provide a calculator which determines an annual water saving”. What I wanted to know is that if there is an experience from submitting this “Calculator” to support compliance with WE.c1 and ask your opinion regarding this situation. Thanks.

I really don't recommend using outside and vendor tools. The reviewer is likely not excepting it unless there is an CIR allowing you to use exactly that. Use the IE noted in the LEED reference guide page 186, Table 2. However you can account for controller efficiency (CE) and here is a link to a publication by hunter about their systems' CE http://www.hunterindustries.com/sites/default/files/Hunter_LEED_Guide.pdf

First of all thank you for your reply Susann. But in this case, where I have different irrigation equipments then those presented in the Ref. Guide, is there any other reference from where I may consult the IE values? Or is it indispensible for me to get these IE values from the manufacture only? Thank you
