Treatment plant outside the LEED Boundary

We have a treatment plant that will treat to tertiary standar 100% of our wastewater. This treatment plant has two situations: 1. It will treat other buildings too 2. It is outside the leed boundary. My questions are the following: If, by calculations and narrative, we prove the treatment plant will treat 100% of the wastewater of the LEED Building, will this comply with credit requirements? Must the treatment plant be INSIDE the LEED boundary in order to comply with credit requirements?

David, check the LEED Minimum Program Requirements supplemental guidance document. This describes how to handle situations where you want to use something (like parking) outside the boundary to contribute to a credit. I think you should be able to make it work.
