EBOM-2009 RPc1:Regional Priority

Regional Priority Credit Outside USA

Hi, First and foremost, i would like to commend your team for setting up the LEED-USER - it helps us a lot on our inquiries and clarification on the different credits and pre-requisites. As for my question, i was actually following the thread and got a bit confused. Are RP today available for countries outside USA? thanks.

Hi Emily, Thanks for the feedback, however when i went and check the USGBC under the Regional Priority Credits. It does states that projects outsite US (and other countries) mentioned below are eligible for Regional Priority Credits. They do also have a link where you can check eligible RP for different countries. "LEED projects outside of the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam are now eligible to earn bonus points via a new set of recently implemented Regional Priority credits (RPCs) within LEED. These credits are an interim solution as USGBC works towards a long-term strategy for identifying the myriad of regional environmental priorities across the globe. http://www.usgbc.org/ShowFile.aspx?DocumentID=8156 "

Alfred, you are correct. Non-U.S. can earn RPc1 points in the way you found. Sorry for the confusion.
