NC-2009 IEQc4.2:Low-Emitting Materials—Paints and Coatings

Non-fibrated aluminum paint

This is actually a LEED for Healthcare question dealing with exterior applied products. In several roofing sections we ask for "non-fibrated aluminum paint". It seems as through 1113 (which just addresses "roof coartings" or the Suggested Control Measures for Architectual Coatings don't give any specific guidance. The MPI identifies the Miller Paints 472 product as being LEED compliant (the only one), but the VOC content is 432 g/L. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Hi Bruce, I"m sorry but I'm not sure what your question is. Can you clarify?
