In the section 8.4 Feeder conductors shall be sized for a maximum voltage drop of 2% at design loadand branch circuit condutors shall be sized for a maximum voltage drop of 3% at design load.
I'm working in a project that has 3 substation which feeds the block 3 that will not be certified by LEED, from the QGBT-SE3 (CIRCUIT BREAKER or LOW VOLTAGE DISTRIBUTION BOARD ) of this substation runs a extension, which feeds a QGBT PREDIO ADM (CIRCUIT BREAKER), about 80 meters away from the QGBT-S3, this QGBT PREDIO ADM feeds the lighting and the power of the ADM bulding, which will be certified.
Questions.
- Because only the ADM building will be certified, the maximum voltage drop should only be considered in the building or from the substation?
- As the voltage drop between the circuit breaker (QGBT PREDIO ADM)and the lighting points to be fed is very small, the calculation of voltage drop could be done in reverse, 1% for the circuit breaker to the outlet or load and 3% for QGBT-SE3 ?

If only the ADM building is being certified, the requirement only applies to the systems inside the building.
