NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

Construction Details in Baseline Model

In ASHRAE90.1-2007, the construction type and U value of Baseline Model is regulated. We use EnergyPlus to do energy modeling, so there is a problem, where can we find standard construction detail for Baseline model to input information in EnergyPlus? or we just need to model as a typical construstion detial, and then adjust the U value of this typical construction the same as ASHRAE? does GBCI need a standard construction detail with correct U value? or just typical detail with correct U value? Thanks!

You can refer to Appendix A of ASHRAE 90.1 for baseline constructions.

Appendix A is typically applied to the Proposed constructions. For the Baseline GBCI simply looks for the correct U-value, not a specific detail.
