Has anyone had issues with the PIf1: Minimum Program Requirements Energy and Water Data Release Form? The credit template states that this form must be on project owner letterhead and uploaded to LEED Online, but the pdf is secured and we are not able to copy/paste. It seems like an unnecessary amount of work to ask the owner to retype it onto corporate letterhead.

Ellen, I think this FAQ from USGBC may help with your questions. But I'm not sure so please post back with your thoughts on where this leads you.

Yes, that does help, thanks Tristan. It seems that we do not need to worry about uploading this form until the certificaiton process is complete. I suspect that we may run into the same issue then, but at least it will not hold up the design submittal.

Two thoughts on this; (1) you cannot 'work' with LOv3 forms do ti the security protection, BUT YOU CAN PRINT THEM TO A NEW PDF, which can then be worked with. (2) If you need to upload something from an Owner (e.g. scanned letter), select the "alternative compliance" box at the bottom a form and (so I'm told) that will then enable you to upload what you chose to.
