MPR 6 requires "whole-building" usage data. Does this include areas that we can exempt for EAp2/EAc1? We have first floor retail and restaurant tenants that are separately conditioned and metered, pay their own utility bills, and account for less than 10% of the building - therefore we plan to exclude them from our Energy Star Portfolio Manager rating - as Energy Star allows, but MPR 6’s "whole building" data does seem to imply we would need to include these spaces. On the other hand, MPR 6 does state later in the body of the requirement that you must "commit to sharing with USGBC and/or GBCI all available actual whole-project energy and water usage data." – “Whole project” is different than “whole building” and would seem to allow the 10% exemption. Any clarification would be wonderful. Thank you
