thanks for your comment Cara, Would it be fair to say that you could use the 2005 guide as a rough guideline until the new guideline is issued in early 2011 if the project in question won't be certified until after the new document is issued but still needs to get started with their documentation? Will the new guide allow for a single registration for all four buildings, and allow you to use averages and weighted averages for Optimize Energy and other such credits? Basically, is the new guide going to be similar enough in nature to the old guide to use as a outline of what's to come? Part 1 just isn't applicable for a lot of projects that just want one certification ruling for multiple buildings. thank you, Lauren

Just to be clear then, we can use AGMBC Part I ( note Part One ) for any LEED 2009 NC project right now ? We dont have to wait for Part II or what ever ?

Mike, that's correct. You can use Part 1 now.

With it being August 2011, do we have an ETA on Part II of the guide? I have several projects that could use some additional guidance on this issue. Personally, I still do not understand why K-12 projects fall under this issue. It seems more like a Corporate Campus, University or Government campus issue.
