I agree with David's points here in principle but I want to note that you specified this is a NC v2.2 project and the MPRs were developed and apply to LEED 2009.I would think that you could potentially exclude the area of the building from your LEED boundary; however, this may necessitate recalculating your SS credits.I would recommend asking GBCI what to do.
