Kelvin, the office chairs and anything else older than a year that is not refurbished or refinished is not covered by this credit.The refurbished or refinished furniture must be tested. In a situation like yours with lots of different items with different histories, I can imagine this might not be practical, in which case perhaps this credit is better left alone. (Although I would still pursue low-emitting furniture when possible.)
