This is an interesting issue that I had not heard about, but I did find this helpful document on the Green Seal website about the relationship between FIFRA and certification.The representative you spoke with is partially correct. Products registered under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) cannot display a certification logo such as Green Seal's. However, they can be certified.
