The conversion factors given in the reference guide are: (for material density in lbs/cubic yard)Cardboard - 100
Gypsum Wallboard - 500
Mixed Waste - 350
Rubble - 1,400
Steel - 1,000
Wood - 300 The Reference Guide says that others may be acceptable if they are "defensible." I suppose this is the question you're asking, Jean?I don't have an answer, but what materials are you wondering about? I can look around.

Hi Tristan, Thanks for the reply. I'm preparing a waste management plan for our client and have included the standard conversion factors. I've heard that (and can readily assume) that the recyclers in europe may use different factors which include for a variaty of different waste types, including co-mingled waste. I was just wondering if there wasn't already other standard factors out there, that I just don't know about.Thanks.I'll update my project usage/experiences here later then.
