Can someone direct me to where in the Reference manual it states that the ratio of landscaped area to site area has to be greater than 5%?

We're renovating an Army barracks, with minimal changes to the existing landscaping, which includes turf. The landscaped area exceeds 5% of the site area.

Cistern doesn't fulfull need, but there is no-potable backup

If you can't prove that your cistern will satisfy the irrigation need every month, but the client has agreed to not have a potable backup (ie the cistern gets drained, and then the plants just live

I'm working on a project where the existing site is 100% concrete paving. We are not providing any landscape, thus no irrigation. Does this mean we comply with option 2?

Non potable water reservoir - WEc1 -NC 2009

We are certifying a project NC 2009 and we are counting in our credit with a non potable reservoir outside the LEED Boundary but is within the limits of the property.

Even if pursuing Option 2 Temporary Irrigation, we've always had to comply with Option 1 reductions also. The points were additive.

With the new state wide green building code and local municipal requirements for landscape irrigation, how is a baseline developed when regional requirements now approach what was a 50% reduction?
