We have installed a green roof on an urban project (LEED boundary = building footprint) for a total of 58% of the building footprint. We have choosen adapted plants and installed a efficient irrigation system. How do we define the base case for this? What kind of vegetation? What type of irrigation system?

Hi Emmanuel,
The baseline should be the same size as the design green roof and assume higher species and density factors (groundcover or mixed palette depending on whether it is an extensive or intensive green roof design) and a sprinkler efficiency of 0.625.
