I am seeking clarification on where places of respite for staff and for patients should be located.

We recently received comments back on this credit, stating that although we had provided the area required, "it does not appear that the areas indicated to be places of respite meet the definition

We are working on a healthcare out patient clinic. The credit says that we will take the net usable area excluding the building equipement, vertical circulation and structure.

For this credit, do the interior spaces have to be located with in the LEED project boundary? Can existing places of respite be used for multiple LEED projects?
