Is the 'zone floor area' in the prescriptive calcs bascially just the area on the floor plan that is determined by the width of the window x twice the height? Can I not include any area that is beyond this outline...such as the floor plan area at some angle to the edge of the window unit?

I apologize for the delay response. The zone floor area is your floor area. You need to divide into two zone, if you have skylight.

There is a revision regarding the definition in the current addenda. The zone area is the daylit area.

Is the daylit area the area lit by the entry of 63º rays or the selected bay width x selected bay depth (up to a maximum of the bay depth to core)?
