Zero lot line projects with no parking provided

What are options for zero lot projects with no parking provided in an urban context? Also, the project is a Health Department HQ, but does have truck loading. Can the warehouse option for Reduced Truck Idling be used?

How did you end up handling this problem Summer?  I have a similar issue with no parking and am trying to think creatively.

Projects with no parking can achieve LEED BD+C: NC v4 LTc Reduced Parking Footprint. Projects with no parking are considered as having a 100% reduction from the base ratio. This applies to substitutions attempting v4.1 Option 2. Reduced Parking. The project would also meet the exemplary performance threshold. Note that the base ratio for the project must still be provided in the form.  "do nothing" are my favorite ways to achieve LEED points. No parking, no refrigerants, no exterior lighting, no cooling towers, no irrigation system, NO PROBLEM! Hope this helps!

Hi David,   I'd agree - "do nothing" credits are great, but they do present extra challenges in the face of credits like Green vehicles - have you ever seen a "no parking" and a green vehicle combination?   Thanks Chyanne

My apologies...got my credits confused. I have not seen a "no parking" and green vehicle combination.  The Location & Transportation Overview section within the LEED reference guide states: "if no off-street parking is allocated to the project building's users, the team is eligible to pursue LTc  Reduced Parking Footprint but is not eligible for LTc Green Vehicles".  Once again, apologies for any confusion I may have caused.  Best, Dave
