Calling all Sustainable Design Leaders - Coming up on March 1st, we’re hosting a virtual SDL check-in. We’ll have a round of five-minute presentations as well as a refresh of the SDL Steering Group.
Quick point of clarification: For those who’ve been around for a while, you may remember this group as the “SDL Regional Leaders”. As we’ve seen increased interest in cross-network collaboration, we’ve decided to shift to having this group function solely as a Steering Group for the SDL Network, and forming a group of Regional Leaders pulling from all five networks. See this forum post for more about that, including another Zoom event to build that group.
Usually we take a moment during our in-person SDL summits to check in and allow for turnover in the Steering Group. Since we haven’t had that chance in two years now, we’re due for a refresh! If you might be interested in serving as part of this group, this is your opportunity to learn more and throw your hat in the ring. We’ll provide an overview of expectations and time commitment and current/past Steering Group members will share a bit about their experiences. From there, we’ll invite you to self-nominate and we’ll choose our group. If you want to join the Steering Group but can’t make the call, please let us know!
