Here is a sheet with a few bullet points from the software tools conversation and--much more exciting--two awesome presentations. Heather Jauregui's PowerPoint includes a run-down of a bunch of commonly used modeling tools, with the Pros and Cons and best applications for each one. And Melanie Silver's Slides illustrate a great case study: using Grasshopper/Honeybee to optimize glazing, orientation, shading, and mechanicals for a patient room.  Thank you, Heather and Melanie, for sharing these!
