NC-v4 EAc5:Renewable energy production

Wind PPA OR PV garden question

Hello,LEEDuser!!!!

My project is planning to contract at least 10year more than 10 Gwh.(not confirmed about wind or PV but the amount is fixed, located in same utility service area)

In this case, with contract paper and Letter of Commitment which contain certain percentage of total annual electricity will be used by PPA electricity, Can I get EAc5 v4 renewable energy credit?

and also, Can I get more point at EAc2??

additionally, If there is certain standard that can define PPA please teach me(for exmple, Green-e Certified REC at EAc7 credit)

Thanks a lot : )

Have a nice Day!

Assuming your contract is for qualifying renewable power it should contribute to EAc5. You should also be able to count it for EAc2. Note that you must demonstrate that the project meets the Minimum Energy Performance prerequisite without the renewable contribution.  There is no standard to follow like there is for RECs when you are purchasing or contracting.
