Municipal law requires that our building be completely smoke-free inside. It also bans smoking next to the building, but it’s not as stringent as the 25 foot LEED requirement. Do we have to make another policy that bans smoking within 25 feet?

We want to designate a smoking area less than 25 feet from an emergency exit. Is this okay since that door is rarely (if ever) used?

Who is the owner if its a big entity with a top management board?

I wonder what is the definition of the project/building owner if the project is property of a large private sector corporation?

For this prereq you could use an office manager or facility manager, whoever has responsibility at this site. Or, if the larger corporation has a smoking policy that applies to all their sites, you can reference that.
