FAQs about EAc6 :

The owner has purchased RECs for a percentage of energy use of its whole portfolio of buildings, or campus. Can we earn this credit for a single LEED building with this purchase?

Is acceptable for a member of the design team or construction team to purchase RECs? May a project team purchase RECs using project contingency funds directed by Owner?

If the team member buys them and then gives them to the building owner that would work. The source of the funds do not matter.
