NC-v4.1 SSc5:Heat Island Reduction

White cement - certificate

Hello. 
I want to know if we use standard white cement (which for concrete means its SR value will be 0.35). How do we declare it to LEED? Is a concrete recipe from a concrete plant sufficient?

Hi Monika, Under the updated LEED Interpretation #10411, you do not need any additional documentation for standard white concrete. You can use the reflectance info listed here: https://www.usgbc.org/leedaddenda/10411  Just be sure to cite the LI # in your credit form as a precaution.
