We are pursuing the chemical testing path for imported soils. My question is what is the acceptable range or percent difference between the reference and imported soils? We will be ammending, but how close do I have to get to be acceptable for this credit? I feel like I am missing a reference standard somewhere. Thanks.

That's a good question; I don't see anything specific about this in the Reference Guide or the latest version of the credit form. I do see that in the case of organic matter and compaction, there are other metrics listed in Table 2 that aren't dependent on the reference soil attributes. That might or might not be helpful in your case, so I'd be curious to hear from someone who has attempted this and gone through the review process. And definitely let us know Leanne if you get any intel!
