Hi!
We understand that all newly installed water fixtures must be WaterSense labeled. however, it seems only Tank-type toilet, Water-using urinals, Private lavatory faucets, and Showerheads are WaterSense labeled, and Public lavatory faucet and Kitchen faucet are not labeled by WaterSense, so project no need to purchase WaterSense label for public faucet and kitchen faucet, right?
Another question, reference guide only indicate that newly installed aerators could be applied to private lavatories and showers, and must be WaterSense labeled, so is it accepted if newly installed kitchen faucet is equipped with aerator? and is the aerator must WaterSense labeled?
Thanks, Tracy

Hello Tracy,
Correct, the kitchen faucet itself does not need to be WaterSense.
Additionally, the BD+C Reference Guide states that newly installed aerators or flow restrictors added to private lavatories or showers must be WaterSense labeled; so I do not believe this applies to aerators in kitchen sinks.
