WELL v1 Building Standard Tip Sheet

WELL v2 Emissions Requirements

Hi, the WELL v2 Flooring Credit references CDPH Standard Method v1.2 2017- what labels is this equivalent to and from what dates?  Working in numerous rating systems between LEED & WELL and feel like I am working with at least 4 different emissions standards. The LEED v4 EQ Credit Low-Emitting Materials Third Party Certifications and Labels table addresses the previous version of the CDPH Standard.

Hi Patricia,  I know this response is much later than your post, but I figured it might still help someone if it's too late for you. The WELL v2 Feature you are referencing...I'm guessing it's Feature X11 under the Materials section, Part 2 Manage Flooring and Insulation Emissions?
If yes, the requirements there are to meet CDPH Standard Method v.1.1-2010 or any more recent version. I made my own cheat sheet for LEED v4 low-emitting credit, which is also the same version, and have the following as compliant:
  • FloorScore (hard surface flooring and flooring adhesives);
  • Green Label Plus (carpet, adhesive, and cushion);
  • NSF/ ANSI 332;
  • SCS Indoor Advantage Gold (Building Materials);
  • UL Greenguard Gold;
  • Berkeley Analytical ClearChem;
  • Indoor Air Comfort GOLD;
  • Blue Angel (for flooring, and only if additional low formaldehyde requirement is also met)
The list is provided by USGBC, and occasionally updates; it can be found here: https://www.usgbc.org/resources/low-emitting-materials-third-party-certification-table
