WELL v1 Building Standard Tip Sheet

WELL v2 and LEED v4.1 crosswalk

Because of threshold changes in LEED v4.1 for Low Emitting Materials, has there been a shift in the LEED-WELL crosswalk re: credit equivalence? For example, in LEED v4.1 EQc Low Emitting Materials Adhesives and Sealants, the threshold has dropped from 90% to 75% -- the WELL requirement for X12 is 90% (per the crosswalk, this earns 3 pts for WELL). So the question is: if achieve the LEED v4.1 EQc Low Emitting Materials, Adhesives and Sealants at 75%, is that still considered equivalent to earn the 3 points for WELL X12?

Hi Gail, I too would be interested in the updated crosswalk and clarification on this. It appears from the credit language that you would still be able to achieve 3 WELL pts. https://v2.wellcertified.com/v/en/materials/feature/12 The LEED Low Emitting materials credit seems to cover both emissions and content, so it looks like X 12.1 and 12.2 should be achievable. The threshold for X12.1 is 70% in which 2 pts would be awarded, and for X12.2, an additional pt would be awarded for achieving 75% threshold. I am not clear on why the crosswalk only lists X12.1 as the part in which to get points. It could be that since the WELL credit maxes out at 3pts, the crosswalk document didn't need to show that X12.2 was achievable too when both were at 90%.
